Tanya Lieberman

Tanya Mariko Lieberman uses Japanese shibori shaped-resist dyeing techniques with indigo and other natural dyes to create designs on fabric and paper. Shibori connects Tanya to her heritage while allowing her to experiment with novel techniques, found objects, and new natural dye sources. She is particularly inspired by the agricultural landscapes of Yolo County.
