Amanda Cadelago
I paint playful scenes and cherished objects that reflect the beauty we surround ourselves with. From animals and flowers to still lifes and landscapes, my work explores our emotional connections to these subjects through vibrant color and expressive form. A lifelong love of art led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Sacramento, and an Associate of Arts degree in Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco. Alongside a career in graphic design and marketing, I continue to grow my art practice and exhibit regularly. I’ve shown work in joint exhibitions with my mother, artist Cathie James-Robinson, at The Artery in Davis, California (2022, 2023, and 2025), where I became a member in early 2025.
